Projected Population

The trend of population growth since 1903 shows an exponential trend. The trend line implies that growth is most likely to persist at a more accelerated pace in the next years.

Based on the 10.15 AAGR observed in the period 1995 to 2000, the projected population for the year 2003 – 2012 is expected to reach 1,007,450. The projected City and barangay population are shown in Tables 3.7 and 3.8 respectively.
