Population Levels, Growth, Distribution and Movements - Population Density, 1990-2000

The population density of San Jose Del Monte increased 57 percent from 6.4 persons per hectare in 1995 to 10.1 persons per hectare in 2000. The densest barangay was Graceville with a density of 75.6 while the least dense was San Isidro with a density of only 1.7 persons per hectare. Among the barangays which exhibited rapid densification were Muzon (where density more than quadruple during the period 1995 to 2000) and Kaypian (which almost doubled in the same period).
