EDUARDO SANDOVAL ROQUERO, JR. MD better known as "DUDS" is the third child in a family of six siblings, four (4) of which are doctors.

Born to Dra. Isabelita S. Roquero and the late Mayor Eduardo V. Roquero, MD, 34 years ago, he grew up to be a normal, shy kid whose interests are playing basketball and simply reading all kinds of books.

He went to the "Oldest School in Asia" the University of Sto. Tomas for his Grade School, High School and B.S. Biology in College. He later on went to the Our Lady of Fatima University for his Doctor of Medicine Degree and passed the Physician's Licensure Exam in August 2005.

Prior to his current position, he was the company Physician of Holcim, Philippines – a cement factory.

Married to Joan Vardeleon Malata MD, an ophthalmologist, he has two (2) sons born in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Both are in grade school.

Duds was elected Vice Mayor of the City of San Jose del Monte in May 2010 and is currently on his first term as presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

As presiding officer, Vice Mayor Roquero is a no non-sense guy paying attention to details. As an example, members of the Council are admonished when cellphones are used while the session is on–going. He is also very particular with attendance - constantly asking for attendance sheets whenever necessary to ensure that next session's quorum will be better than the last.

Vice Mayor Roquero, though a neophyte in politics, sure knows his duties and responsibilities as a public official.

AS PRESIDING OFFICER of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan for the period: July 2010 – July 2011, he has presided the Inaugural Session up to 46th Regular Session.
